Within the framework of our participation in the research project with code EKPAR03-0046839, implemented under the Action “Research – Innovate” of the “Competitiveness” Programme (ESPA 2021–2027), co-funded by the European Union, we are seeking a Researcher with the following qualifications:

Job Description / Responsibilities
The selected researcher will participate in:
- Market research and technical evaluation of components for the construction of a laboratory-scale PEF unit
- Analysis of technical specifications and operating parameters of extraction systems
- Literature review and preparation of experimental protocols
- Operation, testing, and evaluation of laboratory and pilot-scale PEF units
- Collection, processing, and analysis of operational data
- Conducting experimental extraction trials using various plant materials
- Preparation of technical reports, deliverables, and final project conclusions
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Food Technology or a related field
- Master’s degree in Food Technology, Bioprocessing, or a related field
- PhD in extraction technologies, PEF, bioprocessing, or food technology
- Proven experience in Research & Development projects relevant to the project’s subject
- Significant publication record in the field of Pulsed Electric Field (PEF)
- Excellent knowledge of extraction techniques and processing of plant materials
- Ability to design and evaluate experimental protocols
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent command of Greek and English
- Proficiency in MS Office and specialized statistical software (e.g., MATLAB, SPSS, JMP)
- Fulfilled military obligations or legally exempt (for male candidates)
